June Road is an indie folk duo, consisting of British folk artist Harry Pane and Belgian violinist Maia Frankowski. Brought together by a beautiful twist of fate, the couple met on stage during a European tour and are now based in Brussels where both their song writing and relationship blossoms.
A blend of rich vocal harmonies meets rhythmic finger picking guitar work and the warm melodic tones of the violin. It’s a huge passion for travelling that inspires their songs while their natural writing chemistry is an organic process that continues to grow and flourish.
A common admiration for diverse acts such as Ben Howard, Fleet Foxes, Sarah Jarosz and Fleetwood Mac inspires their tone and musical aesthetic. Their first collaboration “Time” was released in 2020 as “Harry Pane feat. Maia Frankowski”. This single saw the beginning of their transition into what is now June Road.
Pane and Frankowski remain committed to creating honest and authentic music. They continue to draw on their individual backgrounds and musical experiences to create something that is uniquely their own. With their emotive lyrics, haunting melodies, and soulful performances, June Road is quickly becoming one of the most exciting acts in indie folk today.
